Privacy Policy
How BushTucka Pty Ltd collects, uses and protects your information — written in plain English, not legalese.
LAST UPDATED · SEPTEMBER 2026
Your data, treated like our regulars — with respect.
What we collect
When you book a table, enquire about an event, join the Tucka Club or use the gaming floor, we may collect your name, contact details, date of birth (for licensed-area verification), booking preferences and — for membership — the ID details required under NSW gaming regulations.
Our website also records standard analytics: pages visited, device type and approximate location, gathered through cookies described in our Cookie Policy.
How we use it
Your details exist to run the venue — confirming bookings, preparing for dietary needs, managing membership rewards and meeting our obligations as a licensed venue. If you've opted in, we also send occasional news about events and seasonal menus.
We never sell your information, and we don't share it beyond the systems that run your booking (reservation platform, payment processor and — where legally required — regulators).
Gaming floor data
As a licensed venue we operate CCTV and player-tracking systems required by NSW Liquor & Gaming. Membership play data is used for loyalty rewards and responsible-gambling monitoring — it is never used to market to you beyond your opt-in preferences.
Self-exclusion records are held strictly confidentially and handled in line with the Venue Self-Exclusion Scheme.
Security & retention
Booking data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to staff who need it, and we review retention annually. ID documents sighted for entry are verified on the spot and not photocopied unless legally required.
CCTV footage is retained for the statutory period then securely deleted. Enquiry emails older than three years are purged unless they relate to an active booking or account.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Write to {{EMAIL}} with the subject "Privacy request" and we'll respond within 30 days — usually much sooner.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to us first (we'll take it seriously) or to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
